The Dog the Bounty Hunter Memoir

For more than thirty years Duane Chapman has worked to take down various fugitives and convicts who are on the run as a bounty hunter. A&E’s series Dog the Bounty Hunter has covered his life over the last few years. While the series gives a great look into the work that he does the best way to look into his life is through his own words. The new Dog the Bounty Hunter memoir is available to anyone who is looking to learn more about Chapman through his own words.

You Can Run But You Can’t Hide is the new Duane Chapman autobiography. Published by Hyperion, it will be available in stores on August 7, 2007. The book is published in conjunction with A&E and will be available in a hardcover edition with a paperback edition coming in the future.

In the Dog the Bounty Hunter memoir readers will get all of the information about Chapman’s life as reported by Chapman himself. This includes his early beginnings in his life from his early life of crime and the many arrests that he went through. His murder conviction in 1977 and the time that he spent in jail during his time of conviction will be covered too.

Among the main parts of the new Dog the Bounty Hunter memoir involves Chapman’s reformation that took place during his time in jail. Even though he continues to state that he is innocent and never committed murder he writes in his new book that the time that he spent in jail gave him a newfound appreciation for life and a desire to stop crime and take down fugitives from justice. This includes his newfound Christian beliefs that he has picked up over the years.

One of the most interesting things about Chapman’s life is that of this personal life. His wife, Beth Smith, has been the subject of many of his stories and also of a wedding special that aired on A&E. In this memoir Chapman will talk more about his wife and even many other people in his life, including his parents, his grandfather and the people who he had once associated himself with in a motorcycle gang.

So, be sure to check out the new Dog the Bounty Hunter memoir. This Duane Chapman autobiography not only gives people a look into what Chapman does but it goes further into Chapman’s life. The best part of it all is that it’s all coming directly from Chapman himself.
